Clients Objective: The main objectives of our client in this case was to create a year-round pool facility to provide better service to the local population, and increase revenues throughout the year. As part of this project, the pool surrounds were upgraded with rubber flooring and access ramps adjacent to the entrance doors (not shown in pictures). The client was concerned with the lost revenues and poor sustainability of their outdoor pool – engaging TPEC to design and install the enclosure meant their pool could become far more cost effective to run, far more sustainable, easier to keep clean, while providing increased revenues and significant return on investment. The end result was a perfect project that turned an inefficient outdoor pool into a sustainable year-round facility for the Randwick City Council – the feedback from members of the community was overwhelmingly positive that there will be another year-round facility, and the leisure centre management were very happy with the result also. This project was completed in approximately 10 days on-site – this resulted in an extremely sustainable build/install process when compared to a traditional permanent structure build over a pool of this size.
